Camping In Florida, Beautiful Location, Lots To Keep You Busy!

Adventure vacations are easy to organize when you go camping, because you can just pack up your tent and move onto the next place with very little planning, if you feel like it. The expense factor is what draws many adventurers to camping, but they also enjoy it as a way of going on vacation more often than you might normally be able to afford.  Camping in Florida makes for the ultimate adventure vacation it is inexpensive, and once you have met the initial expense of buying your tent and all the other items you need, you will get years and years worth of wear out of them. It is not expensive to camp; camping site fees are very reasonable indeed, and unlike a hotel vacation you don’t have to break the bank to have fun.

Florida is not called the Sunshine State for nothing; the weather is great for camping, no matter what time of year to plan to visit. There is such a lot to do and see in Florida, the coastline is great and it is also interesting to visit the interior of the state. This makes anywhere in Florida a good option for camping vacations.

You are even able to enjoy the Cuban cultural influence on this state if you visit places such as Panama City and Miami. Camping is a particularly good way to see this lovely state if you are a family.

Santa Rosa County in northern Florida sees many visitors taking to the camp sites around Milton. This is a well established city and the oldest in the state. It was officially incorporated into the US in 1844, and is the county seat of Santa Rosa.

Adventure seekers find Milton a delight as there is so much to do, enjoying nature up close while you rope or rappel your way down scenic mountains, and of course water sports. Close to Pensacola, Fort Walton and Panama City, Milton is the ideal city to make your base to explore these areas. But when you are camping your home is mobile, so you could hope from one camp site to the next to visit all of these places. There are plenty camp sites available in this vacation state.

Nearby to Milton, you will find one of the most beautiful National Parks, the Blackwater River State Park, and this is a nature lovers hot spot. It is situated only 15 miles away from the city, has great facilities in the camping grounds and visitors are able to enjoy pristine riverside nature at its very best. This National park is fantastic for swimming, fishing and kayaking.

The Gulfarium in Fort Walton is a must see if you are visiting the area. This is an aquarium, and a great place to learn about the see creatures who inhabit the Florida coast and wetlands. Remember this is the state where you find the Florida Keyes. The dolphins and sea Lions are very entertaining and the creatures of the aquarium are very interesting.
